This week we are focusing on emotional intelligence. Emotions can be helpful and harmful, productive and destructive, simple and complex.
Emotions are powerful, and how we feel plays into how what we think, say and do – even if we are not aware of it. By developing emotional intelligence we gain an ability to recognise, interpret and respond to our emotions, and to other people’s emotions too.
This spotlight explores the ‘RULER’ technique used to help us develop greater wisdom about our feelings, and use them to our advantage.
