In response the challenge, the Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet) is pleased to announce that it has joined the Social Enterprise Academy (SEA) network of hubs, to deliver learning and development programs for community sector leaders throughout Canada.
To succeed in creating sustainable organizations that deliver high value social and environmental impact, community sector leaders at all levels need support – financial, advisory, and personal. Many traditional education and training models provide skills and knowledge based on a deficit model. The leadership development programs that CCEDNet provides, in partnership with SEA, support personal growth based on strengths, self-awareness, clarity, and confidence. And they work: 99% of the over 10,000 learners who have participated in SEA programs would recommend it to their colleagues.
CCEDNet works with and through an array of regional partners — community sector associations, networks, and funders — to make a valuable contribution to the ecosystem of supports and resources.
