Head of Education
I joined the Academy in 2018 having worked as a Primary Teacher, Teacher CPD Facilitator and an Acting Head teacher in Malawi. Directly before joining the Academy, I spent three years setting up and managing the schools programme and youth outreach for the Scotland Malawi Partnership.
At the Academy, I sit on the Leadership Team and head up our wonderful Education Team who deliver our highly successful Social Enterprise Schools programme all across Scotland. I also manage our International Schools pilots and support our partner hubs with their work with young people.
I like working at the Academy because the young people and school staff we work with inspire me every day and remind me that positive change is happening all around the world. I love that the team here are so enthusiastic, supportive and fun, it's a great place to work!
