Ewen Munro After twenty years in international textile design, I moved to the world of youth work, studying for my Honours Degree whilst working for the Anglican Church in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Further to this, I held the developmental post of Senior Youth Worker with Hope 2 Oban (H20), a Christian youth work charity, for over a decade.
I am a semi-professional photographer with a particular focus on the colours and textures of the glorious landscapes of western Scotland. Daily relational youth work, built on a foundation of informal education, was core to my youth work, leading to group work opportunities around photography and a host of creative and faith-based activities.
As coordinator of Rural Argyll Youthwork, I was involved in network and partnership work in Oban, Argyll and nationally whilst growing, journeying alongside and nurturing young people, team members and youth workers.
I have a passion to encourage and enable others to grow, particularly children, young people and young adults.
My experience and enthusiasm have led me to become an Associate Learning Facilitator with the Social Enterprise Academy, facilitating learning programmes for young people.
