Jamie Grundy is an independent educator, trainer and researcher in the fields of criminal justice, community development and higher education. He regularly works on a variety of projects across all these sectors which means that no day is the same as another so it's always interesting, fresh and busy! Jamie is also the Director of Inside Out Support Wales, a social enterprise supporting people with convictions into self-employment or further & higher education in the community, as a route away from re-offending.
He also recently published a book called '90 Minutes of Freedom' about the only prisoner football team in Wales. Jamie is excited to be a part of the SEA Wales because he is able to see the tangible benefits that both his experience in the sector and the SEA Wales methodology can bring when they are brought together. Mae Jamie Grundy yn addysgwr, hyfforddwr ac ymchwilydd ym meysydd cyfiawnder troseddol, datblygiad cymunedol ac addysg uwch. Mae’n gweithio’n rheolaidd ar amrywiaeth o brosiectau ar draws y sectorau hyn, sy’n golygu bod pob diwrnod yn wahanol ac o’r herwydd bob amser yn ddiddorol, yn ffres ac yn brysur! Jamie hefyd yw Cyfarwyddwr Cefnogaeth Tu Fewn Tu Fas Cymru, menter gymdeithasol sy’n cefnogi pobl gydag euogfarnau i hunangyflogaeth neu addysg bellach neu uwch yn y gymuned, fel ffordd o osgoi aildroseddu.
Yn ddiweddar, cyhoeddodd lyfr o’r enw ‘90 Minutes of Freedom‘ am yr unig dîm pêl-droed i garcharorion yng Nghymru. Mae Jamie wrth ei fodd i fod yn rhan o Academi Mentrau Cymdeithasol Cymru oherwydd ei fod yn gallu gweld y manteision gwirioneddol y mae ei brofiad yn y sector a methodoleg Academi Mentrau Cymdeithasol Cymru yn mynd i allu eu cynnig o gael eu cyfuno.
