Khwezi Fudu- Cenenda is Director of Zekaya (Pty) Ltd and an independent consultant who specialises in Entrepreneurship and NPO training and development, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Change Management through Gender Balancing. She recently trained in Impact Investing at UCT’s Graduate School of Business. Her work experience spans over 12 years in the Long-term Insurance Industry doing Investment Advisory for Retirements funds and doing Implemented Consulting. She joined the largest portfolio multi manager in the country where she established the marketing function in the investment administration business. For 5 years she served as the Diplomatic Officer for the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of South Africa, where she lobbied the South African government on international human rights matters.
Since 2011, she has served as an independent, non-executive director in financial services (third party administration and asset management), engineering consulting, agriculture and hotel management sectors.
Along with others, she founded an investment company, which currently invests in the largest producer of soft citrus mandarins in South Africa.
She has served on the Bahá’í Local governing bodies in various cities and the Bahá’í Office of Public Affairs (national).
