Peter Sacco


Peter is the Program Manager for the Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship (A.C.R.E) based in Beechworth, Victoria. He is highly experienced in community and stakeholder engagement, facilitation and project management.

Peter’s role is to facilitate the delivery of entrepreneurial learning and development programs aimed at accelerating and supporting youth entrepreneurship throughout rural and regional Australia. The Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship (ACRE) is a ‘for purpose’ organisation based in Beechworth committed to building thriving rural communities through igniting entrepreneurship in young people and their communities.

Peter has a varied work history across many sectors. Over the last 16 years Peter has delivered a broad range of successful community based natural resource management and community capacity building initiatives in Australia and internationally.  Peter is inspired by the true grit and innovation of rural Australia and enjoys working with communities to support young people to achieve what they are passionate about.
