Place Making in the Park

Tyndrum

This two day programme recognises the increased emphasis from statutory bodies on “place-based planning” and the important role community organisations can play in the often complex planning landscape of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Participants will learn from examples of communities engaging in planning, including the National Park Authority perspective, and be able to reflect on the resulting opportunities and challenges in their own areas. Among other skills, the programme supports learning around building relationships, lobbying, negotiating and community representation – all areas for development which were identified through our initial community needs survey.
