Being a Chief Executive is a unique opportunity to make a real difference to our communities and society. As a senior leader, your leadership helps to inspire and galvanise people across your organisation to contribute to social change. However, being a CEO can sometimes feel quite isolated and all-consuming.

Delivered with an interactive approach, you will work with and learn from peers to explore a range of practical concepts and approaches that support you as a strategic leader.  The programme focuses very much on the practice of leadership at a senior level, helping you to gain greater personal insight, different perspectives and awareness.

"The single most important determinant of the success of any organisation is the quality of its leadership.” Scottish Government’s Social Enterprise Strategy.

On this programme you will:

  • Enhance your leadership skills to enable your organisation to be more resilient and sustainable

  • Identify and build on your strengths, passion and values to deepen your leadership approach

  • Enhance your skills to work effectively with stakeholders, partners and your Board

  • Build a community of supportive peers within the sector

This programme leads to a qualification by the City and Guilds Group through the ILM, entitled Certificate in Leadership (SCQF Level 9/ILM Level 5).

Please note: this will incur an additional cost.
