{"id":476,"date":"2023-08-29T09:20:50","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T09:20:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/socialenterpri.wpenginepowered.com\/za\/?page_id=476"},"modified":"2023-08-29T09:35:33","modified_gmt":"2023-08-29T09:35:33","slug":"international-student-internship-programme","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/socialenterprise.academy\/za\/young-people\/international-student-internship-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"International Student Internship Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"is-introduction\"><strong>Creating social change through collaboration<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Collaboration is a growing aspect of a successful business.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Social Enterprise Academy, in partnership with the Bertha Institute and Oslo University,\u00a0are offering students and organisations the opportunity to develop unique partnerships.\u00a0By working in this way and learning from each other, the programme not only develops the student, it positively\u00a0impacts the local communities these organisations serve.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/old.socialenterprise.academy\/za\/images\/Icons\/Speech_Mark_Open_-_Red-01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"36\" \/>The interns were eager to help us and able to adapt their current knowledge and experience to\u00a0that of South Africa\u2019s market, culture, government\u00a0and legal procedures<\/h4>\n<h3><strong>A Snapshot of the Programme<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Interns work as junior consultants on assignments chosen by host organisations and are fully immersed in their work processes and culture<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring support is provided by Social Enterprise Academy<\/li>\n<li>A comprehensive academic programme with opportunities for facilitated, peer-based learning is delivered by the University of Cape Town and Social Enterprise Academy<\/li>\n<li>Host organisations gain an opportunity to collaborate with some of the world\u2019s most talented students and design projects with valuable outputs that can really be of benefit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/old.socialenterprise.academy\/za\/images\/Icons\/Speech_Mark_Open_-_Red-01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"36\" \/>The intern\u2019s work was of a high standard and\u00a0quality.
