This year we are excited to announce that our Awards will take place at a new and bigger venue, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on 20 June 2025 10.00am – 2.00pm.
On 02 October 2024 five primary schools from across Dundee pitched their impressive social enterprise ideas to an expert panel at the Social Enterprise Schools: Dragons’ Den competition at the V and A, Dundee. This provided an opportunity for young people to design an item that would benefit the supporters of Dundee Stars. With the support of the V and A Dundee, the young people received an input from Gary Jamieson Schools Development Officer, V and A Dundee.
Young people today have the potential to significantly impact the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, specifically, through their digital skills.
Our inaugural International Dragons' Den event was a celebration of innovation and environmental stewardship. Young changemakers from Scotland, Egypt, Malaysia and England united for climate action on Social Enterprise Day.
On the 5th of July, an incredible event unfolded at UCL as we marked the grand debut of the Social Enterprise Academy Awards in England.
In April and May 2023, the team in England hosted 7 Dragons’ Dens in and outside of London.
